General Conditions of Owners Cars

• Requested reservations via the internet are subject to our confirmation. This one will be mailed to the address provided by the customer.
• DRIVING LICENCE: Drivers must be over 21 years and must hold a valid driving license with one year minimum experience, depending on the car model (please check at booking time). For F1, F2, K, I, M and M1 groups the minimum required age is 25 years and 4 year experience.
  Supplement for drivers under 25 years: 15€. 
• A driving licence valid in the European Economic Community is necessary. Photocopies are not accepted.

PRICE INCLUDED:

Unlimited mileage.
Obligatory insurance and civil responsibility.
Accident insurance.
Insurance of robbery of the vehicle.
1st.  Additional conductor free.
Taxes.
Breakdowns service 24 hours.
VAT, all the prices are vat included.
The damages caused under the effects of the alcohol or drugs, they are in their totality by account of the client.

NOT INCLUDED:

Tow-away service due to client’s negligence.
Lost, damage or broken keys and costs involved.
Inadequate refuelling.
Windscreen or cristals damages.
Underneath of the vehicle and costs involved.
Damaged to rims and tires, flat tires.
Traffic fines.
Extra services (baby and boosters seats, additional drivers, out of hours).
Fuel.
Cleaning and up holsters.
Suzuki Vitara soft top, (current fares will be applied). 

 Maximum liability according to the group:

• A, B and C = 550 €  / D and F = 700 €  / F1, F2 and K = 950 €  / M and M1 = 1000 €  / I (cabriolet) = 2000€.

Group models:

• Ownerscars can only secure the delivery of the confirmed car group, not a specific model or engine type (petrol or diesel).

Payment:

• Pay at collection time.
• Payment mandatory with credit card, Visa, Master. The credit cards AMERICAN EXPRESS AND DINERS are not accepted like payment method or guarantee. 
• Debit Cards will not be accepted.

Car Pick up:

• Collections and pick ups only in our offices, during open time (09.00h - 12.00 and 17.00h -20.00h)Menorca Airport 07.00 – 22.00.
• Out off hours collections available under request only at the Airport office (22.00 – 07.00). 18.00€ extra charge will be applied.
• Mandatory arrival flight number.

Collection:

• Must be done at the same office and the time stamped in the contract form.
• 59 minutes courtesy at returning time, passed this, one day rental cost will be charge.
• No refunds given for unused days.
• Vehicles can not be taken out of the island.
• One Way (return the car in a different point): 30.00€ extra charge, for 6 days rental period or less.

Fuel:

• Our prices not include fuel cost..

• For 6 or more day’s rentals, car will be delivered with a full tank and must be returned empty.

• The cost for the fuel is charged upon delivery. This amount depends on the model and engine type. Just as an example the approximated amount to be charge will be 56.00€ to 86.00€: Groups A-B-C = 56,00€ to 61,00€ Groups D-E-F-G = 66,00€ to 71,00€ Group R = 69,00€ to 74,00€ Grupo Z = 75,00€ to 86,00€ Grupo P = 50,00€ to 58,00€. Please note that there will be no refunds for unused fuel.

• For less than 6 days rentals, cars must be returned with the same level of fuel as when collected.

Ports Collections: 

• Ciutadella and Mahón Port Terminal deliveries are available, under request 25.00€ extra charge will be applied, (mobile phone required).

Available Extra Services:

It is possible that you is interested in adding secondary drivers to your rent or to reserve special seats for children...
Baby seats / booster 3,50€ per day (Maximum 40€).
2ª Extra driver 2,50€ per day (Maximum 25€).
One way rental 30€. Free from 7 days. FROM THE 28 OF MARCH OF 2010: 40€.
Optional Insurance for Wheels & Tyres 25€ per rental.
SCDW (Total insurance "Exclusions") 58€ per rental.
Collections out of hours 25€. Only by Airoport from 10:00 p.m. to 07:00 a.m. (Mandatory arrival flight number).
Young driver 15€ per rental (less than 25 and more than 21 years).

SCHEDULES

Airport 24h. Out of hours (from 10:00p.m. to 07:00a.m.) with payment the 25€ + VAT. The clients with a flight within schedule that delayed, must warn to the company. 
Port (Mahón and Ciutadella) Only by Ferrys Schedules. Mobile phone required.
Offices from 09:00a.m. to 12:00a.m. and from 05:00p.m. to 08:00p.m. In October the schedule afternoon is from 04:00p.m. to 07:00p.m.
