CDW: COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER

There is no excess fee, except on groups Q-Q1 that have an excess fee of 600 Euros. The client will pay the excess fee at pick up. Payment must be made with a credit card. At vehicle return and only if the vehicle is in the same condition in which it was received, the excess fee will be reimbursed to the client. At any case, there are a series of exceptions that are never covered in any full insurance coverage. Charges for any of the damages below will be charged directly to the client, the most important are the following:

In order to guarantee the charge of the below standing negligences, the client will provide Record Rent a Car a deposit of 300€ (grupos A, A1, C, R y D) or 600€ (grupos F, M2 y M1) at the time of pick up. This deposit will be returned to the client at drop off and after the car is checked.

If the client did not wish to leave the deposit, will be able to contract our Complement by Negligences to cover the following assumptions:

  1. Loss of keys

  2. Fuel error

  3. Damage to the underside of the vehicle

  4. Damage to the windshields

  5. Damage to wheels and tires

  6. Damage to the vehicle caused by driving under the influence of alcohol or by neglicent driving (these damages will never excluded from the client´s direct responsibilities

The price of the complement will be:

  • 3,86 € per day, maximum 49,50 € for groups A, A1, C y D (all taxes included)
  • 6,96 € per day, maximum 97,47 € for groups F, M2 y M1 (all taxes included)

    With this payment, the damages previously mentioned will be covered (except number 6).

    At the end of the rental contract and once the vehicles are checked, the deposit or credit card imprint will be returned. The client must report all accidents within 24 hours after the accident. The clients must fill out and turn in to Record Rentacar the accident form located among the vehicle's documents. Any unnoticed accident or damage to the vehicle may be interpreted as negligence. This may result in a charge to the client.

PAYMENT METHOD

Payment will be made with a credit card directly at the airport. The bearer of the credit card must be present at the time of pick up.

TP: TOTAL THEFT COVERAGE

It is mandatory for the client to file a police report in case of theft and to turn this document in to the Record Go office.

PAI: PERSONAL INJURY ASSISTANCE

24 hour roadside assistance with vehicle substitution in case of accident and damage to the car.

  • Second driver included in the price. There will be a charge of 17 Eur for every additional driver (a maximum of five). The payment will take place directly at our office.
  • Child seats (9 – 18 Kg) and booster seats (19 – 36 kg) at an extra cost of 2,10 Eur per day and a maximum of 25 Eur per contract. Payment must be made directly at the office.
  • Out of hours deliveries are under request at an additional charge of 30 Eur for deliveries that take place between 23:00 and 7:00 in the Canary Islands and between 0:00 and 7:00 in Palma de Mallorca, Malaga and Alicante. Payment must be made directly at the office.
  • Roof racks are not available at any of our locations.
  • ONE WAYS are not possible.
  • Payment method for any extra via credit card (Visa, Master-Card, Amex).
  • The minimum age to rent is 21 years old and possession of a driver's license for at least one year.
  • Bookings will be accepted up to 48 hours before the booking takes place for FREE SALE vehicles (A-A1-C-D)
  • Booking extensions are possible at our offices and with the local rate, payment will be made directly by the client at our office.
